This policy explains what information Starlink Jewels collects when you use starlinkjewels.com and our Ring Builder and 3D viewer, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We only use optional cookies and analytics after you agree to them in our cookie banner.
Who we are
Starlink Jewels designs and manufactures certified lab-grown and natural diamond jewelry in Surat, Gujarat, India, with an office at 55 John St, East Rutherford, NJ 07073, USA. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us: when you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or email, or send a quote or consultation request through our website form, we receive what you send, such as your name, email, phone number, country and city, your preferred time and way of contact, the pieces you are interested in and any design details. If you write a product review, we receive your rating, review, name, country and email address; your email is never shown publicly.
- Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies: your IP address and the approximate location it indicates (country, region, city, postcode, time zone) and the name of your internet provider, your device type, browser, operating system, language and screen size, the website that referred you and any campaign tags in the link, the pages and pieces you view, how many times you open WhatsApp from our site, and a random identifier stored in your browser. If you also allow your browser's location prompt, we record your device location and its accuracy.
- Information needed to run the site: your cookie choice and your display settings (theme and accessibility options) are stored in your browser. When you make a cookie choice we also keep a record of it as proof: the choice, the date, the page, a random consent ID, and your device type, browser, operating system, language and time zone (plus, if you accept analytics, the random identifier that links the choice to your visit log). Like every website, our hosting and image providers receive your IP address when they deliver pages and images.
- Information stored only in your browser: pieces you save to your wishlist and pieces you have recently viewed. This never leaves your device unless you choose to share your wishlist link.
How we use your information
- To answer your enquiries and quote or consultation requests, prepare quotes, CAD renders and certified stone options, and make and deliver your order.
- To publish your product review on our website once our team has checked it.
- To understand which pages, collections and pieces interest visitors, where our visitors come from, and how to improve the website and our range (analytics, with your consent).
- To measure and improve our advertising, including showing you relevant Starlink ads on other sites (marketing, with your consent).
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
Legal bases (EU & UK visitors)
We use analytics and marketing cookies, and record the related information, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Cookie settings. We handle enquiries and orders to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you, and keep the site secure on the basis of our legitimate interests.

Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business:
- Google (Firebase and Google Cloud for our website database, Google Analytics, and Google advertising if you allow marketing cookies).
- Vercel, which hosts the website, and wsrv.nl, which resizes and delivers our images.
- ipapi.co, which turns an IP address into an approximate location for our visit log (only with analytics consent).
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to contact us there.
- Couriers and insurers, to deliver and insure your order.
International transfers
We work from India and the USA, and our service providers may process information in other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep information
- Visit records from our analytics: up to 14 months.
- Cookie consent records: up to 3 years, as proof of your choice.
- Quote and consultation requests: up to 3 years after our last contact, unless they lead to an order.
- Product reviews: for as long as they are shown on our website, or until you ask us to remove them.
- Enquiry and order records: as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, tax and warranty obligations.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR in the EU, UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, Canada's PIPEDA, Australia's Privacy Act and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw your consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children
Our website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change and show the new date at the top. If the changes affect the cookies you agreed to, we will ask for your choice again.
